SS Sunday: Volume 1 Issue 2

A few moments of my life through snapshots.

First up we have Monday morning...

One small pile (of many larger ones ) of paperwork to get through...

...and some coffee (cookies & cream) and orange juice to get me through it.

I stopped drinking pop a few weeks ago and so I have been compensating my morning pop with coffee and lately I cannot get enough orange juice.  I don't have a photo, but later in the week I gave up on not drinking pop and am really enjoying my decision to enjoy the things that make me happy.  Coke is King!

This is what happens when you cook a microwave pizza and it is super hot and you leave your fork in a piece of pepperoni while you take a phone call.  Needless to say, it is hard to eat with a jacked up fork.

My new favorite lip stuff is the Mentha line from CO Bigelow at Bath & Body.  This one is Bubblemint.  I swear my sweet Elliott knows when I put this on because comes running for a kiss.

Sweet Elliott before I put on the Bubblemint!

And Cooper.  Because if he found out that Elliott made a blog appearance & he did not, I would never hear the end of it.

The last two stitches!  It was a reason to celebrate on Friday night!  Look for the final look later in the week.

Saturday night is movie night (unless there is a game, then it is game night).  This week I watched Killer Elite with Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Robert DeNiro and a whole bunch of English actors I don't know.  It was based on a true story, which I did not know.  I must say I was surprised it was based on a true story because I thought every Jason Statham movie was some over the top shoot 'em up, beat 'em up type of show.  I can't say I would watch it again. Once was enough.  It was enough of a thinking movie to make it not your Transporter type of film, but violent enough to make the men happy.  Plus there were a pair of naked boobies.

I must say that I really love Netflix.  It makes me wonder how many movies I would have seen by now if I would have signed up sooner!

With the hockey season winding down into playoffs in a month and the prime time television season wrapping in early May, I thought it was time to start thinking about studying something.  So I am going to delve into Office 2010 and figure out what it is all about.  I have been using it at home and I have hopes that someday we will move to it at work and I would like to be the ultimate office guru on the new version.  So, I will be starting studies the second week of April.

THIS, is what I am going to do tonight!  I was blessed with two issues of The Hockey News on Friday and have been anxiously waiting to see the Top 50 list!  Sunday night is usually magazine night for me.  I also have the new issues of Us Weekly (the one with preggo Snooki) and Cosmopolitan on the Nook!

And later I am treating myself to a mini hand massage with this ultimate in hand care from Crabtree & Evelyn, the Gardner's Hand Recovery, to be followed up with Gardner's Hand Therapy lotion.

And that is a week in snapshots.  I already have some photos for next week.  They would have made the cut today, but I am just too lazy to download them. I did lose an hour after all!
